Catalogue of the works of art of the traveling expositions of the 25 IAC Benelux members

I received the catalogue of the artworks “Fusion of Visions” made by 25 IAC Benelux members for the traveling expositions in Europe.

This is the last week we have our exposition in Aveiro Portugal.

We started out in Andenne, Belgium. from May 17th - June 15th, 2025.
Then we had an exposition in Gmunden, Austria from August 28 - October 5th, 2025.
We had the next exposition in Luxembourg, Luxembourg from November 18 - November 25, 2025.
At the end of this week January the exposition in Aveiro, Portugal will be finished: October 18th - January 18th, 2026.

The next exposition will be in Muel, Zaragoza, Spain form February 6th - April 6th, 2026.
After that we will be in Keramion, Frechen, Germany from April 23rd - August16th, 2026.

And we are trying still some more expositions thanks to some diligent people who know how to organize this. Thank you.

Groups exposition at DeNieuweGalerie, Amstelveen

Some of my Horsehair Raku works are included in the summer groups exhibition at TheNewGallery in Amstelveen, The Netherlands.

New artworks

I made some new work: the Mishima inlay technique combined with the Horsehair Raku burning and spraying of Ferric Chloride. I cut my designs with a knife for getting the straight lines (not easy with the added grog in the clay) and with some other fine cutting tools I take off a layer of 1 - 2 mm of the white clay. I fill in this space with black clay. Of course, the clay is leather hard and I may even wet it a little more to get good adherence. I tested different kinds of clay to get the same shrinkage rate.

Exhibition at the Dutch Luxury Design Gallery

Dovetail Gallery, Healdsburg, California

Cultuurprijs voor Beeldende Kunst Ouder-Amstel/Culture price for Visual Arts

I participate in an exposition for nominee of the Culture Price of Ouder-Amstel.

The title of the exposition/competition is: Do you hear the music?

The first show is in the City Hall of Ouderkerk aan de Amstel from March 22 - April 16, 2022.

The second show is in the “Dorpshuis” of the city Duivendrecht from April 19 - May 20, 2022.
