Off to a good start of the new year 2024 with the opening yesterday of the exhibition at the Dutch luxury Design Gallery!!
Unfortunately, it will be the last exhibition because the gallery will close, but they will continue online where you can see and buy all my artworks.

This town Buren has a historical connection to the Dutch Royal House of Oranje-Nassau. So, when you come to have a look, you can visit this lovely town with its old city brick wall and still one city gate entrance. It has many little shops and galleries and you can easily walk every where, because it is a small town and restaurant “The Prince” has delicious coffee and cake!!!

Amstellanddag/Open studio on June the 12th!!!

I am ready with my art in the frontyard for the upcoming “Amstellanddag”. I participate with my SwanCeramics Art Gallery to show that art is an important expression influenced by living in this beautiful landscape and living along the river “The Amstel”. The gallery is open the whole day from 10am to 5pm.

It is Amstellanddag on June 12, 2022. This day is organized to show and enjoy the beautiful cultural and historical “Amstelland” with its farmhouses, nature, art en recreational enjoyment of this region. Very important is to show and discuss how to protect this special environment of the “Amstelland” surroundings.

The Dovetail Gallery, a fine art design luxury store, accepted my horsehair works which I was able to carry in my suitcases recently for a visit. I am very glad to have some work again in the USA, where I lived for 30 years. Thank you so much Patricia for your appreciation and acceptance.

This weekend is the opening of my gallery and exhibition weekend

This Saturday and Sunday November 17 + 18 quite some dear friends came and I met some very nice new people visiting my new SwanCeramics Art Gallery in my house in Ouderkerk aan de Amstel.

"Landelijk Atelier weekend" and Opening of SwanCeramics Art Gallery.

Tomorrow and Sunday, Nov 17 + 18, I will open my SwanCeramics Art Gallery officially and participate with the national open studio weekend: “Landelijk Atelier weekend” in which more than 400 galleries participate.
I will be open from 10:00am to 5pm each day and will give throwing demonstrations. Also, you could try yourself if you would like!
I hope you all come and will enjoy my artwork!

I announced the weekend in my village’s newspaper Ouder-Amstel Weekblad and in the neighboring town Amstelveens Nieuwsblad.

Opening of the International Ceramics Tea Ware Expo on November 5, 2017

Last Sunday was the opening of "the International Ceramic Tea Ware Expo" in Utrecht in the "Keramisch Atelier" of Brigitte Reuter in Utrecht. The Expo was curated by Lou Smedts and Brigitte had done a wonderful job with the creation of a wonderful exposition in her gallery.
