The “Golden Lotus” Horsehair Vessel was accepted by the San Diego Art Institute: Museum of the Living Artist in their 50th International Juried Awards Exhibition, May, 2009.

The “Amphora” was accepted in the juried Exhibition of the California Clay Competition in Davis, California in May 2004.

The “Greek Vase” and “Red River Tripod” was accepted in the juried show in the Olive Hyde Gallery organized by the OVCAG Orchard Valley Ceramic Art Guild organization in Fremont, California in 2004.

The wings are in different flapping positions as in flying and going upwards like spreading their wings and flying high. They go from low big wings to high small wings. The poles are thin enough so that they move in the wind. The blacksmith who designed the pole work is Jan Cuiper living down the street from me.
The installation is for the Exposition in the National Tree Museum in Doorn, the Netherlands organized by the Dutch Ceramic Organization with around 60 other members. The exposition is postponed until September 2020 due to the Corona Virus.

2 times horsehair Raku burning with ferric chloride fuming.

With this Kintsugi method the damage of the broken objects will be aggrandized by filling the cracks with GOLD. It is believed that when something suffered damage and has a history, it becomes more beautiful.
